    Often had trouble with .45 Colt caliber. Cylinder throat dimensions vs bore dia, also too large case capacity for low pressure powders available post black powder. I see magnum primers necessary to light random placement of said powder charge.

    On the question of bobbed hammer primer ignition: Would it possible to swap a m49 or 649 hammer in to the m36 to lower profile of the hammer spur hang up? Or even a hammerless type hammer?

    Reginald Denney was gang beat with concrete blocks because he stopped his cement truck. He should have protested by driving over them. His attackers were identified by helo video cams but never incarcerated, just let get away.

    In rifle bbl wear, I consider HEAT rather than friction. In magnum HG's possible the same. I read decades ago that ball powders burn "cooler" than others. this while featuring photos of eroded forcing cone edges. I don't click my teeth when I smile so I don't chase the edge of the envelope...

    The stampings look soft. The screws look bugled. The field luster looks too perfect. Otherwise a prime desirable piece.
