Hahahaha I agree with the statement about follow up or control. Was it NYC, where that mad man was loose on the streets? 4 cops fired 13 times, 13 people were shot... Not one the bad guy? All using 9mm and or .40? My father in law carries a little SW .22 mag UL I covet. And that's his...

I think the point is that its not a useless caliber... Per the article; " If I had to choose between a micro 9mm and a .380 in the same size and weight class, I might choose the smaller round if the difference in controllability were significant. In the case of the test gun I mentioned earlier...

Agreed. More often as I stated I carry my .45/.40 but there are just times I absolutely can't without drastically altering how I carry. The statical averages he uses in the articles are interesting. The effectiveness I mean. My only concern with a 2" barrel shooting a smaller round like a .380...

Reliable for sure... I don't own a gun that's not! But the writer makes an interesting point. I can shoot accurately with my XDs .45 and it's reliable as it's what I carry most (along with my now retired shield 9mm). And hopefully my shield .40 will prove to be as well! I do carry my .380...

When Does a .380 Beat a 9mm? - Personal Defense Network The .380 vs the 9mm which has been debated for God knows how long... I don't carry a 9mm anymore, only a .45 and .40 but also have a TCP738 and it's a wonderful little pistol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Shield

Absolutely I have paid for two 9mm shields and both were 440$ As I walked the show, which was in Va (I can give you the exact dealer if you want) most guys were selling them for 420-440. I wanted one when they first came out, but I had no intention of buying the .40 at the show. BUT I came...

    Shield 40 Mishap

Wow... Subscribed. I jut bought my .40 shield. I know this high unlikely to repeat itself, but that makes me a little nervous considering ow flawless my 9mm has been. I'm glad the OP is ok! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Glock 19 or SD9 VE?

I've had both. And shot both side by side. The trigger on the Glock was better. But I really liked the SD9VE better. And I regret selling it. I can't find them where I live for less than 370.00 and as soon as I do I am buying it again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

my response to "no guns allowed" sign

Hahahaha that was funny. And I carry when I see a sign that reads no guns allowed. I understand their position, but on any given day I'd rather be caught with it than without. Although, I try to avoid most of these places at all costs! (If I can) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Shield

Always wanted the .40 but could never find it. I have the 9mm that I paid $440 for awhile ago, and today at a gun show I paid 370$ for this beauty, brand new! Not to mention getting ammo for the .40 is fairly easy these days! Pretty pumped! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
