I tried gently to remove the grips, they will not just pop off !!! Wasn't about to force them. Any ideas on how to loosen them up ?

This came in yesterday, I liked the grips, in great shape, but,,,,, I can't find any other images of early S&W grips with the medallions......

Picked up a nice one today. 29-2, 8", appears unfired. No box...... But is is a beauty. My wife is going to have one hell of an estate sale someday,,, might be soon if she visits my gun room.....

Seems like old S&W's are coming out of the woodwork lately....... All these in the last couple months, with the latest being todays 19-3 with bone grips... Have to wipe them all down tomorrow, too many fingerprints.. All in very nice to excellent condition. 19-4, s/n 37K8930 14No Dash s/n...

Need a price opinion on this one. This beauty is like new, tiniest of turn lines, likely from being played with. 6", 19-4, s/n 58K8737, guessing it is from around 1980.

Group buy this morning - Had several S&W's, including these 3 beauties. 2 have Hogue wood on them, but they came with the original grips also ( which I will be putting on ). A 3913, 5906, and a 6906.

These two came in a group of 14 pistols I bought today. One is a Model 18-3, which if I am correct is a K22 Combat Masterpiece, s/n 17K4355. I believe born in 1967 (?). It has Hogue grips on it. The other is a Model 38 no dash, s/n J964024 ( 1982 (?) ) that looks unfired. Both are in excellent...

I usually take a load to Nevada, I like shooting in the desert.

Like I said, mechanically it is fine. Bore is not bad at all. Biggest issue is the front sight, and the appearance of the rest of it !! Kind of interested in a possibility of cutting it down putting a site on, but, I do have a lot of other project guns laying around. Maybe I'll just do something...
