You KNEW it had to be coming-Gun review of that little single shot credit card .22

Neat concept, but not worth $399.00. And realistically, my North American Arms .22 Magnum, FIVE SHOT, revolver is a lot more practical. It's also cheaper, and just as easy to conceal. I predict bankruptcy in the companies future.

    DS-10-SWCH .22lr Speedloader

Does anybody have any experience with these? Another forum talked about them, but i wanted to know what you guys thought. For $15 a piece, that’s not a huge investment. But if they don’t work, i don’t need them for my 617-6. Thanks

    Refinish or leave alone?

Thank you very much! I’m going to do this. It will be interesting to see what they say.

More pics of my M&P 5 screw

Okay here’s some more pics of my Grandfathers revolver that y’all requested. Not sure how to post more of the pics. How do you post pics in the thread? I got a close up of the logo, a close up of the serial number under the barrel. The numbers on the yoke and crane. And the serial number stamped...

    Refinish or leave alone?

I'm very glad that I got all the reply's I did to this post. I certainly did not mean to offend the purist, by even suggesting having it re-nickeled. I was curious about the revolver. Never had any idea that you fine folks would respond like you did. I will take better pics of it and start...

    Refinish or leave alone?

Sadly, he passed away when I was too young to be able to ask any questions about it. I've been a law enforcement officer for over 22 years, so the sentimental value is high for me, with him being a state probation officer.

The serial number is stamped under the barrel.

    Refinish or leave alone?

These numbers are stamped under barrel are “608568,” the serial number.

    Refinish or leave alone?

Lock up is very tight on all chambers and the cylinder is tight. I really don’t believe it was shot much. He was a State Probation Officer. It’s marked on the left side of the barrel, “38 S&W SPC CTG.”

What pistol does this magazine fit?

This may sound like a stupid question. I was going through my shooting bag and found this magazine. It doesn’t fit any pistols that I own. Can anybody tell what it might fit?

    Refinish or leave alone?

I have this old nickel, pinned barrel .38 that was my grandfathers. I think it’s a K frame, but there aren’t any model numbers on it. I don’t know when it was manufactured, but the serial number is 608568. I was thinking of having the nickel finish redone. What are your thoughts, and if I did...

    My next revolver purchase is?

I’m with UncleEd on this one. A 2.75 Model 66 is what I want next. Great all around revolver.

My Dad’s old S&W belt buckle

Thank you very much opoefc. It's sentimental value to me can't be measured. I saw some threads on here about S&W belt buckles and thought I would ask. I remember him having it around 1975 or so. Have no idea where he got it. Thanks again.

Hammer pin facing tool? Trigger pin facing tool?

Thank you so much http://smith-wessonforum.com/member.php?u=199460. Those were exactly what I was looking for.

Hammer pin facing tool? Trigger pin facing tool?

I saw a video that a guy used a tool that appears to come from Brownells. It puts a smooth face on the hammer pin bearing surface, and another tool that puts a smooth surface on the trigger pin bearing surface. Does anybody have any knowledge about what I’m talking about? Ever use one? Did it...

My Dad’s old S&W belt buckle

I can remember my Dad having this belt buckle in the 70’s. At some point he gave it to me. It’s been sitting in my safe for years. My Dad passed away June of this year. I guess I’ve been nostalgic about the things he gave me. Anyone know anything about it? To me it’s priceless, along with the...

    A Tale of 3 Grips

I’m glad you posted this. I’m considering buying the Hogue round butt S&W conversion grips, to make my 617-6, feel more like my 627-5. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

If you bought a new S&W recently and love it... tell us!

Last week, after thinking it over for two months, I bought the most expensive .22LR revolver known to man. Yes, I bought a 617-6. My friends thought I was crazy for spending that much on a .22 revolver. Well I took it to the range last Saturday, and fell head over heals in love with that gun. It...
