Whatever, no matter how small, any attempt to improve on gun safety should be applauded. As forgetful as I am sometimes it's a good thing I know my firearms are loaded and I don't have to think about it. Otherwise I just might need a red rubber reminder if sometimes they weren't loaded. Thanks...
Those grips are very nice.....but, I would have had a hard time not putting the old grips back on. That's just me though. Very nice save sir!

I don't know about the red copper, but I am tempted to try it on the inside of riding mower tires that I have to air up every time I mow. Also thought about using the flex seal sprayed on the inside. Any of you all ever tried it?

Thank you to all who answered my question. I told my son that I will post it on the S&W forum and find out what it is. You people are just fantastic. Thanks.

Epiphone
DG, I didn't know whether I would be able or really get into playing again, but I did and I am. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a guitar that I may or may not work with so I bought an Epiphone AJ 220S/VS. I used to play a lot and always had Gibson flat tops so I do know what a...
I ain't been on here for a while. My son has had a couple of surgeries and I bought a new flat top guitar in Feb. and been trying to get my hands back after 30 years of not playing 6 string guitar. Not easy. I think I am a better player now than then but we'll see.
The real question I have for...
Got this mag from a friend to try to find out what it fits. I'm posting this here because it really ain't gun smithing. Please feel free to move it if you want to.

My Colt O1991 .45 Government had the little dimple that threaded on to the recoil spring but the round checked portion on the front was off center and it bothered me so I changed it. I have 2 spares.
The best way I have found to find small parts lost in shag carpeting or grass is to take your...
Post #26 mtgianni send me your mailing info and I will get the grips in the mail. Thanks to everyone that entered. I am still getting rid of stuff that I probably won't ever use.:)
Have a great weekend everyone,
Gordon
I remember a Coke machine like that when I was a kid. I think that is the kind where you put your money in then slide the bottle to the end of the rack and when you push the lever down it releases the gate at the end. We used to wait till the guy couldn't see us and we just popped the top off...
I am slowly thinning out the accumulation of stuff I have hoarded over the years. What these are is a brand new in the original packaging set of Mustang brand grips. These are for a J frame round butt. They are walnut with an oil finish. They are a little to big for my taste. I thought about...
