    S&W 357 Magnum

Unless of you have experience in smithing, I'd bring it to a gunsmith. But By the time you do that, plus cost of new barrel, you are getting close to the range of probably just buying a second one in that configuration.

    S&W 357 Magnum

I'd leave it alone and try to find another 66 model that fits the bill of what your looking for...for the reasons the previous response pointed out. Part of your accuracy that you like is due to the longer barrel. I have a model 66-2. 2" , barrel,Very similar to yours but harder gun to shoot...

Hey power of the dollar my friend. I'm not looking down at you for it, if I was in a better economical situation I probably would have purchased more too.

    LGS very busy today

Yea I think so. I've personally noticed a change in personal attitudes towards gun ow,ership from people that I know: neutral and against. But not in the way you think. They seem more in support and cite these ISIS jerkoffs how the attacks make them want to go learn how to shoot etc. I've...

Concerned that NJ will soon come down hard on guns

I ask myself that very same question ever time I have to leave my edc at home, to drive into NJ to pick up my daughter. Lol frankly a big part of why the mother and I aren't together, is due to my refusale to move to that cesspool.

    Gloves

I second this. They are cheap, I just got a box of 100 pairs in xl for 10 bucks off of Amazon. I use them to work on my cars and to clean the guns. What I like about it Is that their tough so don't tear easily, but yet are very thin so your touch and grip feel normal. Best of luck

    Electric Brake Controller for Trailer....

It works with the same system, so no need to purchase new drums etc. The ability is within the controller itself. Tekonsha isn't the only one that has the ability to apply proportional braking. But even still with a proportional controller you do have to adjust the setting. Too aggressive...

    Electric Brake Controller for Trailer....

Yea those are the tekonsha proportional ones right? If I'm not mistaken don't they need adjustment as well?

    Electric Brake Controller for Trailer....

Biggest piece of advice with electric brakes is to always adjust with every load. You do this with the dial on the controller. Obviously a fully loaded trailer you would need a more aggressive setting, but if you leave it there when unloaded you will be finding yourself locking up.

    Electric Brake Controller for Trailer....

Yea you usually do, unless if your vehicle has an integrated brake controller. You would know as it would have a manual activate button for the brake as well as an adjustment dial. What kind of enclosed do you have? Is it a single axle? And what kind of plug set up is it? Is it a 7 pin...

    S&W 460xvr or The 500?

Lol I may be biased because I have one, but go with the .500. Lol its like saying you have a 12" you know what. Yea it may be too big and too painful for your lady and yes a smaller is more practical for the job... but when you pull that puppy out everyone wants to take a look and grab it...
