i have a 28-3,the problem is it will jam up while fireing.it will cycle find with no ammo,and will cycle fine loaded,but when fireing it will jam in single and double action attemps.it will fire a few rounds before it does jam.i cleaned it up and don't think it is a problem like that.it does...

yes,i got it from dan at the medina show,i paid him 600.00 for it,i had to have it,i have never seen a nicer 28 than this one and the serial numer makes it even better.dan said two other people came back to buy it,so i feel lucky,thanks curt.

i have a revolver that when i bought it has the s&w logo and letters are gold in color,i guess to show up better or for some reason.i do not like it and am hoping to find something to tget if off without hurting the blueing which is mint.any good advice is appreiated.thanks.

just got home from the gun show,i picked up an 28-2,99 %,looks to be un-fired, in box with all papers and tools,all original including grips,6 in,blue serial N 4949 yes a four digit serial no.it should be a 1969 or so if i remember right.

i think you did great,i picked mine up for 550.00 and i was really happy with that price.i have seen them at the gun shows,i seen one for 700.00.
