i am in need for the pin or pins that are on the butt of the frame that hold the grips in place.i do not know what you call it and don't know if there is one on each side or just one pin that goes thru.i would appreciate any help,since i am not real sure what it is called or where i could get...

just picked me up a 27-2.31/2 in. barrell,about 95% of the high polished blue finish,5 digit 'N' serial number,target grips,around 1970 manufacture,i was looking on gun broker and only seen two,one was a nickel in ruff cond. for 800.00 and the other was a newer made one.they must be getting...

just having one with the 3 1/2 in. barrell is a plus in any condition,they just feel so nice and look so mean.i also have a mint condition 5 in. and had a 6 in. but sold it last year to my father in law,i wish i still had it too.curt.

i went to the gun show early this morning and the 27-2 was still there,i paid him the 550.00 and now its mine.i am happy with it,it does have some wear on the high spots such as cylinder and the very tip of barrell.the only thing i found out when i got it home is after removing the grips there...

the best deal i have ever seen on a 4 screw pre-29 was 800.00,did not have cokes,90%,with no extras.i think you got a great deal.

i went and looked at it again,the numbers don't match the # on backstrap /frame is 14767 and the # underneath by barrell is 14962,it was real small and hard to read,the grips are in great cond.they are black rubber with two large diamonds if i remember right,no # on grips.he seems to still...

i have a 1905 4th change that has the stud right below the cylinder latch,serial #426427,mine is a 5 screw, sq. butt,5 in. barrell,says 38 sp on barrell and has the single line address,don't all the m&p's have the stud below the cylinder release.don't mean to butt in,but i am trying to increase...
