    Estimated worth of a 3" 657 bought 1987

In 1987, I purchased two 657, .41 Mag, 3-inch barreled, factory combats Smiths from my LGS serialed 101 apart. I am thinking about selling the one that was to be my "shooter" but ended up barely shooting at all. It's just not a model I find enjoyable in 3-inch. I unfortunately do not have the...

    Week of Chiefs...not over yet!

You know your addiction is bad when you build your new home and design in a vault room because you are tired of dealing with safes.... Ask me how I know! Nice score!

Had one of these on a Colt New Service that I had some years ago. Not a bad sight really.

    Looking to buy a 3" Model 64

As the title says... This one in 3" has escaped me for many years in very good to excellent condition. I desire an as-factory configuration. Shoot me a PM if you have one you'd consider selling! Can provide forum members as references from past purchases (new username, old member). Thanks! Rob

Educate me on 3 inch K frames

A 64 is one of the very few 3" post-war, pre-locks I am missing... Still searching... Those of you talking the Ruger SP101 - excellent, excellent revolver! I conceal carry a DAO SP101 .357 regularly as it's lost easily on my frame.

Is this a 629 "Trail Boss"?

Came with the Pachs from the factory. I have the same gun! It will punish you with wood grips if your plan to regularly shoot it! Not a carry piece for me so I don't have any holster recommendations. Fun gun!

    Week of the Chiefs/M36?

I'd say the 36 with the flat latch is on the more "stiff" end of feel if I compare it across my collection of Smiths. While stiff, the cylinder releases smoothly. Any chance your extractor is loose or the rod bend?

    Week of the Chiefs/M36?

Noted a lot of threads on them lately. I FINALLY added a 3" Mod 36 (stamped, no dash), flat latch, round butt, diamonds to my collection on Saturday out of a small shop on consignment. Owner kept in the nightstand since purchase, and only put a half box of factory ammo through it - the other...

Friday pawn shop save **Pictures IN 1st Post***

Am green with envy over such an amazing find! I too scour the hole-in-the-wall pawns and tiny gun shops for finds, and have made many, but yours is particularly exceptional! Well done!

    What's a LNIB 3" 65-5 going for these days?

Like the title says, a S&W 65-5 with 3" barrel with factory Uncle Mike's; original case, papers, and all; and, around 150 rounds of .38 Spl through it and one cylinder of .357. Thanks for the input.

    15-3 Combat Masterpiece

Hello all! New here to the forum. I came into a Smith & Wesson 15-3 that was re-blued, tuned and zeroed by the factory in 2009 for the original owner. I know that the revolver is considered once of the best .38 specials ever. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the year mine was...
