Help M&P users! Does your sear have this dimple?

MY M&P Core was made on January 7, 2016. It doesn't have any dimple in it. But I'm going to yank it out and replace it with an Apex sear as soon as I get it. I don't see how yours would hurt anything. But you are welcome to mine after I pull it out and replace it with the Apex.

    I like my new M&P C.O.R.E. except...

Thanks. The kit I ordered has a new sear and new modified striker block and new springs. I will do some polishing on the trigger bar and anything else that needs it. I hope that will take care of my problems.

    I like my new M&P C.O.R.E. except...

...the trigger is wretched. In comparison to my Sig P229 the M&P trigger feels like dragging two files together. I ordered an Apex Tactical M&P 9/40 Trigger Kit for Competition for it. I hope it improves the trigger considerably or I'm going to sell my M&P C.O.R.E. and have the slide on...

    I finally got my M&P C.O.R.E.

I did think about it. My main concern about ported guns is that they are noisier and they get dirtier than non-ported guns. And the 9mm doesn't have much recoil anyway. If I were getting the .40 I might consider getting the ported version.

    Holstering a Pistol cause wear

Yes, all tools show signs of wear after they have been used. However with proper care and maintenance that tool can be used for a very long time. A handgun is either one that you have for using or one used for displaying.

Here is my holster for it. I'm left handed. The holster is a Safariland and the mag pouch is Fobus.

I'm like you. I don't give a dang if someone sees my SN. What are they going to do with it?

    I finally got my M&P C.O.R.E.

The mfg date number is 010716 on the white label on the box. If I"m reading it correctly it was manufactured on January 7, 2016. Is that correct?

    9L CORE with RMR RM07

Do you guys have the Trijicon sealing plate underneath your RMR or did you mount it directly to the M&P CORE plate? https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=RM63

    Anyone Woods Carry A 629 6" ?

That is what I use my 4" 629 for. I camp and ride ATVs in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I carry mine in a cross draw shoulder holster.

I made my own bullet lube...

It was fairly soft. I had the heater turned down real low, but I think it would flow fine without any heat at all.

I made my own bullet lube...

Well, I got my bullets lubed. It went through the sizer/luber just like store bought stuff. I guess the proof will be how good the bullets shoot. I'll give them a try this weekend if the weather holds up.

I made my own bullet lube...

I ran out of bullet lube for my luber/sizer. And I have about 500 .44 Magnum bullets and about 500 .38 Special bullets that I need to size and lube. I've got some bullet lube that I've ordered, but I didn't want to wait for it. I want to get these cartridges loaded up. A guy told me about...

    What do you actually CCW?

For years I have carried my Model 65 most of the time. And when it's real hot outside and I'm wearing light clothing, I've been carrying a Makarov. And just recently I got a new lightweight carry gun - a 36-1.
