Yes that's the case for SS and turret presses. It's not the case for the 550B and the other progressive presses as it has a chain link reset with each cycling of the ram.

I've found the micrometer on this model, the Classic PM, is easy to set and the settings are repeatable for the same lot # of a specific powder. The Quick Change Hoppers will be nice especially because of the price but as said the micrometer it comes with works very well.
