Thinking of changing/upgrading my single stage press.

You are not bound by any "press vow" you did not take...... years ago when you chose your RCBS..

GO FOR IT!

Instead of the Coax, have you ever thought about buying a turret press instead? For that kind of money you can get a Redding T7 turret press. My brother has one and it is one very nice press and I've actually been thinking of replacing my old Pacific 007 press with one myself.

I've had a Bonanza CO-AX for over 10 years and can say enough good thing about it. A couple of years ago a gentleman, REX Roach, posted this video on youtube. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c9ZFsSgyeA"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c9ZFsSgyeA[/ame] The way he mounted his CO-AX was the best "up grade" this press ever needed.

I replaced my RCBS with the Forster a few years ago and can say I could not be happier with the decision. It is the best single stage press I've ever used. Someone once told me "you will forget what you paid for something but you will never forget the quality". This is definitely true of my Co-Axe press. I honestly don't remember the cost but whatever it was it was well worth it in my opinion.

I purchased several inexpensive lock rings for my dies and now I simply pop them into the press and load. No more wasted time setting dies when I change calibers.

I use the two Dillon presses for handgun ammo and have never loaded a rifle round on either one.

I load all my rifle rounds with the Co-Ax and the only thing I'm sorry about is the losses I took when selling the other single stage press, shell holders, etc. I should have spent the extra money up front and saved a lot of time chasing spent primers and cleaning primer/powder residue off of the press, bench and floor.
