S&W 640 Pro Series - The Ultimate Snubnose

Thought I had all the guns I wanted I must admit, that is one beautiful revolver and I will have to start looking for one. Thanks for the post, that is the first I have seen it. I have a 340 PD which is nice but think this has it beat.

Governor fires Judge...finally Taurus free... Governor review

I like wise got rid of my Taurus Public Defender for my Governor and I love it. You really have to try the 45 acp in it if you haven't. I load my own rounds for it, very accurate out to 25 yards. I carry mine when I am out in the woods in South East Ohio. Copper head country.

Should I buy Shield or XDS

Hi Pete, I have both the Shield in 9 and the XDs. I truly love both of them. You had mentioned a XDs in 40, at this time they only make it in a 45. I have run about 400 - 500 rounds through my XDs and have never had a malfunction. Double taps are extremely easy as the recoil on it is nothing...

UPDATE! TOM GRESHAM'S GUN TALK SIGNS UP OVER 6000 NEW NRA LIFERS

They must all say expiration in 2033. Don't think I will be around then to say anything about it but you younger ones need to get it corrected.

UPDATE! TOM GRESHAM'S GUN TALK SIGNS UP OVER 6000 NEW NRA LIFERS

Just signed up. Did a 8 year renewal a year ago but bottom line, the money is all going for a Great Cause. I hope my new life member ship links to my regular member ship ID # as my NRA Instructor number is the same. I am sure this has been addressed however the telephone rep was not sure.

    M&P 9 Night Sights

True Glo TFO's I have them on my M & P 9c and 45c, love them and for older eyes they are great both at night and in day light.

    Ameriglo or Tru-Glo

I have the Ameriglo on a Glock 19 and TFO's on a Glock 26 & 27. The Ameriglo is a nice tritium sight but the TFO gives us elders a good advantage for both day and low light advantage. The TFO sights are about 6 & 7 years old and still just as good as new. Never a problem with the fiber optics...

    m&p 45c

M&P 45c over Glock 30 I have always liked my Glock 30 but after having the 45c I found it is not as wide, not as heavy and I can shoot my 185 grain swc lead reloads in it. Recoil very similar and double taps are no problem. Comparing it to my Glock 23 it is almost the same weight and size...

340PD and Buffalo Bore Ammunition - My Personal Experience

Maggie Richard, Well I gave it the name when a couple of my friends tried it out and exclaimed that is one heck of a magnum. We started calling it Maggie because it could sure hurt you. I have several holsters I use. I have a Galco IWB (think it's called the summer partner or cozy partner)...

    Trigger fix M&P 22?

Horrible Slack Joe, Not quite sure what you are speaking off on the horrible slack. I have the M & P 22 and 9c. This longer trigger pull is characteristic of this type of action. I have run about 2000 rounds of all varieties of 22 LR ammo through mine. It has a nice smooth action with a...

    M&P 45 police gun failure

S & W Model 39 Blow Up In the 70's I carried a Model 39 9mm as an LEO loaded with the Super Vel 115 grain jhp. While on the range a round blew off the wood grips cutting my hand. The gun it self held up good just blowing out the magazine and splintering the grips. For those of you that has...

340PD and Buffalo Bore Ammunition - My Personal Experience

Maggie RichardK I have had my 340 PD for about 8 years. Like you said, it's not one you shoot a lot. When I first bought mine the first thing I did was get rid of the boot grip that comes with it and install the Crimson Trace LG-405. The LG-405 has a soft rubber insert in the back of the grip...
