    PX4 Storm?

If you must trade, look at the prices of sold 15’s and sold PX4’s on the big auction sight. 15’s are worth more. If the trade didn’t include cash, I definitely would t do it.

An M1 Garand Springfield made in 1944 and a Colt Army 1911 also made in 1944.

    PX4 Storm?

I love Beretta's. I’ve owned over a dozen over the years. I have three now, an M9, a 92 Vertec, and the new 80X Cheetah. I owned the Storm when it first came out. Good gun, but nothing special. Beretta went through a weird futuristic phase with the PX4, the CX4, the Neos, and even the 9000...

    M&P 2.0 Subcompact and

I have all the sizes in the 9MM 2.0 series and while the barrel length between the subcompact and the compact 3.6 might be the same, there is a real difference in the size and between the two. And for a carry gun, that’s really important. There’s your market right there. I don’t care about...

Why are people more cautious carrying a chambered bodyguard 2.0?

Light, striker fired guns aren't "unsafe", but they are "less safe". People make mistakes all the time. Thinking it not only "won't" be you, but even worse, "can't" be you, is foolish. I have the original M&P Bodyguard 1.0 and it has a safety. I don't always use it, but I usually do. But...

    NYPD 10-6

The 10-8 doesn’t look that bad. The round butt was uncommon. Clearly among the last of the blued Model 10’s since July 1987, all new hires got the stainless gun. Hold onto the barrel in case you wanna put it back on and return it to original. The crazy part is the stainless guns were ever seen...

    NYPD 10-6

Best story I heard about Lee Brown was when he took a leak out of a police helicopter after a cops funeral. He was a DEI hire before that term ever existed.

    NYPD 10-6

Never saw anybody carrying an unauthorized gun other than undercover where allowed to. Nowadays they’d be fired and indicted for it. I did know one cop who carried a Glock 19 off duty even though he hadn’t qualified with it yet.

    NYPD 10-6

Really? Never even seen or heard of it.

    NYPD 10-6

I have an NYPD 226 DAO. A call to SIG got me a ship date and that fit the timeline. Not many agencies used DAO 226’s, and the fact that the dealer I bought it from buys a lot of NYPD guns from retired guys and the others I bought from him all lettered to the NYPD, I took that one in faith...

    NYPD 10-6

We never used the 669 so that can’t be NYPD gun. The other likely are, especially the Ruger Service Six if it’s in .38.

    NYPD 10-6

You are correct. We bought our duty guns from the Equipment Section and there was nothing special about an NYPD 10-6 vs. a regular 10-6. The DAO guns went into effect for the July, 1987 class. The stainless DAO guns made you stand out as a rookie, and guys from the January 1987 class with...

    S&W 15-3

I bought a LNIB 15-2 in 2020. Still haven’t fired it. I take pleasure in owning it but I have other K frames to shoot. I might change my mind at some point but for now it’s a safe queen.

    Birth Year Guns

Same for me. And even same birth year. A 29 would be awesome. I’d also really like a 19 or 15. I bought a LNIB 15-2 that letters to my brother’s birth year. He doesn’t care.

    NYPD Model 64-1: 4-inch SB, 4-inch RB, 3-inch RB and 2-inch RB

They evaluated it to see if scores went up, I was told. And they called in mostly female troopers. Also makes sense. They went from the Glock 17 to the Glock .45 GAP because they didn't feel that female troopers and smaller guys would like the huge grip. When the GAP failed to impress, they...

    NYPD Model 64-1: 4-inch SB, 4-inch RB, 3-inch RB and 2-inch RB

I can't imagine they'd be given a choice. It would be a first. Troopers are all about standardization. The trooper I know said it's happening this spring and he definitely does not want to give up his Glock 21. They're giving troopers the option to buy their 21's for $300. Not surprised the...

    NYPD Model 64-1: 4-inch SB, 4-inch RB, 3-inch RB and 2-inch RB

I remember having to call the equipment section to see if they even had guns, then going down and hoping they still had them, then being told they only had the Ruger or something, then being told to go to lunch until they got to you.

    NYPD Model 64-1: 4-inch SB, 4-inch RB, 3-inch RB and 2-inch RB

No link link but it’s absolutely real. A trooper friend of mine showed me the pictures. The called in female road troopers like a year ago to evaluate the flock 17 and they liked it. Transition happens this spring with the spring qualification. Glock 17 Gen 5 with a very big and boxy and cheap...

    NYPD Model 64-1: 4-inch SB, 4-inch RB, 3-inch RB and 2-inch RB

There was a 681 NYSP on the auction sight for a $1000 Buy it Now. Reasonable for that gun. The troopers were allowed to buy them when they switched. Then the Glocks came and they stopped marking them NYSP. The troopers are going to the Glock 17 this spring and turning in their Glock 21’s. They...
