Thanks for the suggestions. She shoots my g19 and both my Shield And FS M&P .40 and my TRP .45 very well. She has no problem w the mags and racking the slides back. She doesnt want to carry anything smaller than a 9mm bc she "doesnt want a baby gun." Shes trying to stay away from a Glock bc...

I havent bc i dont know of anyone w a 9mm shield in the area. Its alot of money to buy a mag and barrel hoping that it will work

I just used a glock 19 grip tape decal kit on my Shield 40. I hate it. It rubs on my back all day when i carry it and wont stay stuck down. After seeing this i ordered myself one. Hope it works well.

I just got mine today and i am having the same issue. It deff takes more than normal effort to insert the full mags. Im sure after a few weeks of being fully loaded will cure this problem

I Have a Shield .40 and hope to buy a 9mm conversion barrel at some point, (if available). I emailed Storm Lake the other day. They said that "do not know if we will manufacture barrels for that model yet." But they do have a email list if something does come available. Im asking for help...
