My S&W 317 22 lr fell out of my pocket wile I was spraying invasive Cogan grass on my tractor. Looking back over where I’d been was a thick jungle tried to find it with no luck. Got the old metal detector which I hadn’t used in some time but no luck so off to Costco to buy a cheap metal...

K260519 shipped May 8 1956. To Alaska Commercial Co Seattle, Alaska first year production revolver. Interesting history of the company on Internet. Love the old serial numbered components manufactured just before or during the tradition from hand fitting.

Letter arrived yesterday confirming the red ramp as factory plus the target trigger and hammer. And factory walnut targets. The ramp is secured with a non flush pin. Shipped on 10 August 1960 Carlisle Hardware Springfield Ma. Did't go far from home.
Warm day for a change, so I decided to take a vintage 38 S&W out for some plinking. Left the orange reactive ball spinning. My buddies were amazed how easy it was to shot this oldie well.....

Havn't posted in a wile thought I would share one I picked up about 10yrs ago. These don't seem to have attracted the colectors interest I would have thought. In my opinion they are neat.
Have a great day.

Bought these years ago for a 1917 45 and they were a no go but they are close to a victory but not quite. They are distinctive, does anyone recognize the identity? Happy new year!!! Thanks Wallace
Sorry for lousy photo but very excited! Shipped Feb 25 1957. My parents and I would have been celebrating my 4th birthday that day S168655.

Shipped Oct 31 1956 with red ramp front sight target trigger and hammer. I have enjoyed this combat magnum for years even though I have never done anything but hold it and admire the quality. Wallace
