Finally came into the shop , a ton of grease or cosmoline inside. Seller told me serial number was in the 70k range. It's in the 15,000 range. I guess he couldn't see and thought the 1 was a 7 Would this be 1864 or earlier?

I have an old s&w 1 1/2 32s&w. All is completely solid lockup timing etc. I noticed the firing pin will not protrude and make it to a primer. Seems that the hammer won't fall all the way. I noticed the mainspring tensioner screw is all the way in. Is there too much tension on the spring...

I loaded some 38s&w. Hoping for decent results. Couldn't obtain real bp but used pyrodex p fffg. 10 grains with about 5 grains of filler. Missouri bullet co. 361 hi tek projectile. Had to seat them about deep but I think over compression shouldn't be an issue with 10 grains of substitute.

Guys the seller of this 4th model states it is not antique?? Am I missing something,? Or rather the seller missing some information?
