Shout out to fellow member 44magget

I just want to give a quick shout out to fellow forum member 44magget. I took a shot in the dark emailing Curtis with a question regarding an issue with a set of grips I have and how I would go about repairing said issue. We'll wouldn't you know Curt answered my email and set me off in the...

    Model 48 chamber polishing

After going through previous threads and researching this particular model I am fully aware of its unique traits. After firing at range (which was awesome BTW) I experienced the hard extraction after first 6. Managed to clear and cleaned as was suggested in past posts. Fired again both single...

    An unlikely find

Was very fortunate to be able to bring this Colt Marshal home being that only 2000 were manufactured in the 4". It's not as rare as the 2" version only 500 of those were made. Making 2500 in all. This 4" version functions as it should and is in pretty darn good condition for a gun made in 1954...

    Pimped up Outdoorsman

I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase a sweet original k frame Wesson grip adapter from one of our members here on the forum. I'm very grateful. Anyway I took the original service grips off because they are perfect and numbered to the gun and I installed the adapter and put some MOP's on...

Went out to buy ammo came home with a CHIEF!

As the title implies, I had no intentions of purchasing a gun yesterday but for some reason I could not leave this one behind. I haven't even looked into the model 36 with any great length of time but I'm sure glad this one grabbed me. It's a 3" roundbutt judging from the database I think it's...

    Stamp question

This is my Brazilian from 1938. The question I have is in regards to the little stamp on the left side of the grip frame. Could be nothing I'm just curious. Thx for taking a look. Paul.

PAPLINKER - A MAN OF HIS WORD

I just received the most wonderful pair of pre-war sambar service grips from PAPLINKER. They are exactly as described and it was a pleasure doing business with a fellow forum member. I would definitely buy from him again without hesitation. 👍👍

    Vintage model 41 L.G.S. find

I don't really have a cool story to tell regarding this one other than I was very fortunate and lucky. It came with original box, tools, two weights (steel and aluminum), and two compensators (the larger one that is on the gun and the smaller one).

    My friends last N frame

Yesterday I was lucky enough to purchase my friends last N frame. We met recently as I purchased two other revolvers from him(a '33 outdoorsman and a pre model 24 from 1955) both in very good condition but I purchased those through our local shop as he had them on consignment. After asking if I...

.44 HE-4th model target front sight question

This model was not on my radar but I spotted it at my local shop. After some research and reading comments on the forum I had to have it. No box or tools and the front site has been modified. Come to find out it was "safe mate"to my 38/44 outdoorsman I bought at same shop back in July and I'm...
