    Found a Savage model 24!!

I had one, repeat had one 22 Hornet, 20 gauge. Wish I still had it. By reloading you can make that Hornet do all kinds of things. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I love bolt action shotguns !

I read once a bolt gun is a single shot with a convenient place to store extra ammunition. That being said, I own a Marlin 55s quick pointing rugged reliable. I like it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

    Favorite range revolver????

I think the Black Powder Revolvers are often over looked. A day at the range with one of these and a friend is hard to beat. Of course clean up is mandatory, but any task large or small do it right or not at all. This is my Ruger Old Army 7 1/2 inch black powder revolver. Sent from my Pixel...

    Barrel Length?

Would anyone be able to tell me how to correctly represent this Model 57's barrel length. I read it was made in 6" along with 3", 4" and 8 3/8" with a short run of 5" barrels. I want to call this a 6" but actually measures 5 7/8". Thanks for any help, generally a Ruger man but find these S&W's...

    (3) Model 29-2, (1) Model 57

A lady acquired these from her husband and asked me to try to sell them, I know she could use the money so I told her I would help her if I can. These are as I got them and not yet cleaned up also two of the boxes have a broken hinge each and the one 29-2 has a little bit of pitting on one side...

What IS This Thing, A Colonial African Fly Swater?

I say it is indeed a quirt, they were popular in and around the 1870's and 1881's. I have a beautiful one laying somewhere out in a plowed field, it fell of the saddle while working a new mare. The field was wheat stubble when I was riding out there. I looked and looked and then it got plowed...
