    Maybe if you really did research you would find that I made that comment regarding my 357 M&P. It is a fine gun. I became less than impressed with the M&P when I bought the Pro model. It had problems. I still own the 357. Please don't be shocked.

    I just put the M&P Pro up for sale. I will do the same to my other one soon. My Berettas never gave me any reason to doubt their reliability. I used them in Combat Zones.

    I have to tell you that since reading about the many failures of this weapon, I have gone back to the Beretta M9A1 for my home defense gun. I cannot take any chances with malfunctions when lives could be at stake. Same would go for a carry weapon.

    Thanks. I am having Smith fix. My other M&P is great, altho I have only put 100 rounds thru it. On another note; I have been taking down my M&P "like a Glock" in that I just rotate the lever and DRY FIRE the gun to get the slide released. I guess I should try the book method.

    I found another M&P forum. Burwell is on this site. I am reading about huge numbers of problems with the M&Ps. Considering trading mine for a Glock. I never had any problems with Glocks.

    Thought of that. I really wanted to go to 9mm because of ammo cost. I could have picked up a 9mm conversion bbl and three or four mags as well, but decided to trade off one of my 1911s instead.
