To answer my own question: Apparently that model does not have the thumb safety. I didn't realize it was an ambi safety and would be visible on the gun in the pic if it were included. And I'm assuming you can't easily add one. But I also don't know if I care any more... -- Sam

Can anyone tell me if the model number 150603 TALO edition, the .45 model with the 10 and 14 round mags (top one here) has the external safety or not? If not, I don't suppose you can add the external safety to the non-equipped model easily... Just thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance, -- Sam

Thanks. I tried tucking the (unloaded) gun into my waistband without a holster, and I guess it's not too bad after all. I do tend to prefer IWB since it gives good support. I'll continue my search... -- Sam

I'm looking to get a holster for a 3" 624. I haven't gotten the gun yet so I can't measure it myself: Is the size of the cylinder across N frames pretty much the same? I have a 25-5 and a 27-2 and they both have the same size cyl, and I'm assuming the .44s would too, but you know what happens...

I have a nickel 19-3 and the front lock sometimes doesn't want to disengage smoothly. I've inspected it and the lock pin itself appears to move freely, as does the inner portion of the ejector which actuates it. It's almost as though that actuator rod inside the ejector isn't quite long...
