    In regards to the polymer holster, Ken has it down pat. I use his for my Colt Cobra. For leather, I have been happiest with Andrews Leather for my K-Frame and Mitch Rosen for my 1911 Officer's Model.

    Oil or wax to protect the finish ?

    The PRE-LIM product is a good adjunct if you need some surface prep. I use it sparingly and most often on the wood. I use 5 times as much Renaissance Wax as Pre-Lim, but is a good thing to have around.

    Regardless of price I can't handle that recoil in my aging hands. It will be noticeable. I had to step down to the .32 - 631, 432 and 331 - to have something manageable in that light package
