Your Take on Tariffs and Ammo Prices?

I have been through half a dozen shortages and bans. I have prepared fairly well, stocking ammo, powder, primers, bullets and lead to cast my own bullets. I have enough to last my life time and my sons. I'm going to sit this one out and simply enjoying the guns and ammo I have.

New to me 681 no dash

The only 681 I have is a certified "blood" gun. The officer it had been issued to used it to stop a felon that had murdered his girlfriend with a shotgun and was actively trying to kill the officer with the same shotgun. The felon took second place. I got the 681 when the Dept. sold them all off.

Tell me about the 657 Mountain Gun

I know they are damn hard to find!! It took me years to locate one to complete my set of Mountian Guns. I had the .44 mag., .45 Colt, .45 ACP,, 357 mag., but no.41. Finally found one and completed the set. I also have the .44 special if you consider a 624 a Mountian Gun.

    Charter Arms Trade

I have a fondness for Charters Arms revolvers. Over the years I have had several. I have given each of my grandsons a Pathfinder .22's when they turned 12 (with their fathers permission), but I kept the Pocket Target for myself. I also kept a Bulldog .44 special and two of the .32...

    S&W Model 1950 Target 4 inch 44 special

The 4-inch 1950 Target .44 special was my grail gun for many, many years. It seemed when I found them, I was broke and when I had funds, I couldn't find one. However, over the years I have managed to get my hands on four of them, one of them shipped my birth month and year. I also added three...

    Model of 1950 44HE 4"

The 4" gun was always a grail gun for me. For years, if I found one, I had no funds. Then if I had funds, I could never find one. In the past few years, through good luck and perseverance, I now have three 4's and three 6.5's. One of the 4's is a birth month & year gun. I'm a happy camper.

    Ammo Prices

If 11/4 breaks against us, people will look back on the $1.00 per rounds days as the good old bargin days. Ammunition will be unobtainable to the public. Military and police will get first dibs with public getting what little is left over.
