Vihtavuori N350 has met all of those criteria for me. I have been very happy with it in everything from 9mm to .44 Magnum.

I wanted a 5" with a full underlug barrel for a long time but could never find one so I ended up ordering a Performance Center V-Comp with the 4.35" barrel. I can't wait for it to come in so I can tell you how it shoots. I still really like the look and balance of the 5" guns though.

I would say that it probably ruined your barrel and you should sell the gun to me immediately for an incredibly cheap price. I'll buy it to help you out ;)

No, don't do it!!! I have two brand new Taurus revolvers that are at Taurus for the FIFTH time trying to get a trigger issue resolved. I will never own another one and I will sell these two as soon as they're good enough that I feel comfortable selling them.

You all are lucky. Around here in southwestern Indiana, you don't see a 686 in good condition for less than $550 to $600. Maybe it's because you can legally hunt deer with them so the price stays a little higher (?) I don't know for sure. $799 is still a little high even for us though.
