    I asked S&W this same question back in the early '70's. In that response, they said "don't use +P much" in my Mod. 10, but they didn't say "don't." So, I have shot +P in it whenever I felt like it, and 30+ years later the revolver remains fine.

    A blued Model 17 that I traded in the mid-'70's for a Remington 1100. One of the stupidest moves I ever made.

    Model 10 snubby value

    Recently got an unfired nickel 10-7 2" RB for $500. Box, papers, etc. Would have preferred blue and this was my first nickel S&W. It's not unfired anymore and I have grown to like the nickel finish.
