Helping an old friend who is getting up in years downsize his reloading stash and ran across this box of bullets. I thought someone on here would appreciate them. I counted them and all 100 bullets are in the box. Box seems to be in reasonably good shape considering it's age. Not exactly sure...

I picked up a 3953 earlier this year and it has become my favorite carry gun. I was originally a revolver shooter and love the DAO trigger. Heck I love all the 3rd gen Smith's.

We gave them to my dad a few years ago at Christmas. He still talks about how green the signs are along the interstate. He knows where each color should be one stop light and can tell which one is turned on but couldn't ever really tell what color they were. Now he says he can see the colors...

I shoot a Speer ,98 grain full wadcuttter with I think it's 2.5 grains of Bullseye. It's about like shooting s 22 in noise and recoil. That should be a good load to use.

Sounds like his Hornet has to slow of a twist. The 22 Hornet is really at its best with 45 grain bullets. It probably has a 14 twist but due to the low velocity of the small case, it will have a hard time getting some 55 grain bullets to stabilize.
