    Just spied a S&W 60-4 .38 spl 3 inch

Hopefully, it's still there when you get to the shop. And if it is, I can't wait to see pictures of your recently acquired 60-4 3" posted here on the forum.

    New-To-Me 64-3 3"

Yes, there are treasures to be found at pawn shops. You never know what you’ll find under the glass! Some shops even have a decent return policy on used firearms.

    New-To-Me 64-3 3"

Thank you everyone for the kind words about this revolver. I'm so glad I picked it up. It feels so well-balanced! Does anyone know why S&W went with such a thick barrel on these firearms?

    New-To-Me 64-3 3"

I paid $512. I’m sure I could have gotten it for less if I let it stay under the glass a little longer.

One thing I've been very happy with was my decision to buy a CS9 when a NIB one appeared at a local gun show. To my eye, it's just plain cool-looking and from a practical standpoint, after having fired it at the range, I've found mine to be utterly reliable and decently accurate. If you can get...

    1948 Colt Officer's .22 vs. Model 17 1959

I just picked up a used and in excellent condition 1948 S&W K-22 today and after reading all of this, I feel much better about my purchase. I knew the gun was special but this makes me even more confident in its potential. I’d like to thank the original poster for starting this thread and all...

    Help CS 9 Backstrap Solution?

I don’t know, but to me the grips look fine as is. I have the same gap that you’re talking about on my CS9 and it looks pretty cool to me. Stylistically, it kind of harkens to the Walther PP series of handguns.
