I have the Ruger PCC and a MKE AT94 16" pistol that I converted into a rifle. The Ruger is obviously the cheaper route and takes Glock mags, but the AT94 has the H&K MP5 coolness factor. Both are great.

The upper and lower receivers on Tippman's are aluminum, all of them. They are not polymer like the Smith&Wesson. If you compare the spec's it's all there.

The Pro has a composite (polymer AKA plastic) handguard and the Elite handguard is aluminum.

Tippman are nice rifles, all aluminum upper and lower, no plastic and mil spec compatible for furniture etc. CMMG also makes dedicated .22lr uppers to replace your centerfire upper.

I would avoid the Witness and look at the Tanfoglio Elite Match at a minimum in 10mm if you are set on a CZ clone. The Elite Match is a SA but there are other models that are DA/SA.
