Definitely yes!
I had a Springfield Commemorative when I was living in Fairbanks back around 1996 or so. It was the most accurate 45 I ever owned. I should have never traded it. 😕
Yes! I remember that time so well.
I was 25 and could focus on the front sight. The stuff that S&W was putting out back then was beautiful!

I just picked one up a couple of months ago. I was actually surprised to see it on the shelf. Wheelguns have been scarce lately. It's a great shooter.
I just wish S&W would make a 4-inch again.

I just bought a new 4" 686-6 plus 2 days ago. I prefer the 6 shot but
It was the first new 4" I've seen in months. I also picked up a 6" 57 classic and a 6.5" 29 classic a month ago at the same store. It was nice to see them hitting the shelves again.

My first was a 681. Bought it on closeout at Western Auto in 1986 or 1987. I think I paid $129.00 for it. I sold it to a Army buddy that was joining the Border Patrol a few years later. I wish I still had it.

I went to the Cody firearms museum today.
It was awesome! [emoji4]
I highly recommend checking it out if you're passing through Cody, Wyoming.

I scored a 696-1 no box or papers.
Fired very little. It looks new.
I couldn't believe he was only asking 400 bucks for it. I will not part with it. I've wanted one since they first came out. It was a nice retirement gift to myself. [emoji16]
