That's a good question! It did it with both of the mags I was using that day.

Recently, my magazine has been releasing when firing. I have to stop and slap my magazine midway through emptying it. It's beginning to be a little frustrating. Is there something wrong with my grip? It seems to happen no matter how I change my grip. I have not contacted S&W yet.

My main CCW is a M&P 9C. I ditto everyone's comments; great gun at a great price! I find that mine doesn't like 145gr. bullets as well as 115gr. The 145's are just a litle longer and don't seem to feed as well; it may be my problem not getting them loaded into the magazine well enough. I prefer...
