I bought one last year (2015) and really like it. As to grip size: I bought a Hogue wrap around and am even happier with this. Of course, my claws are a bit large. I have tried only a few ammo brands, and all worked well.

My Hornady works well, as did my Dillon. Neither is perfect. Both companies are helpful, as is Lee. Sorry if this does not decide for you, but I think that you will be happy with either the Hornady or the Dillon. Hornady has some very nice rebates.

I load .45acp for bullseye and use 700-X and so have many pounds on hand. I would like to use the same powder for .40S&W, if this is a good idea. What load do you suggest for 155gr lead? Some sources suggest 5.2gr to start. Your thoughts?

APEX has several trigger modifications available for a FS MP40. Please tell me which ones you have gotten, what you like, and do not like. I just bought a police return (carried much, shot little), and I want to improve the trigger to something better for competition use.
