    Florida Python Hunt

The most successful python hunter is an older gentleman who works for one of the South Florida Water Management agencies. He slowly drives a F-series pickup along the canals and uses a 12 gauge. He has the vision and experience to eliminate them constantly. The very big dead ones, especially...

    Bodyguard 2.0 Finally Released

I think that this pistol will be a big success. If you are already an M&P9/40/45 owner or have a Shield, this is a perfect small companion. Familiarity is a great selling point if you are already a S&W M&P user. It competes with the new Ruger but they are both significantly larger than the...

    Native American Jewelry

Consider purchasing the book “ Evolving Designs-Jewelry by Southwest American Indians” by Nancy N. Schiffer, Schiffer Publishing, PA. $60.00. There is a lot to learn about this subject, some of which is available on the internet. The big auction houses really don’t specialize in this art form...

Best safe for a few rifles/handguns

Do not forget to bolt down your safe. This is very important if you get a smaller safe. Crooks have gotten sophisticated with moving large safes. If they can get a safe on its side, it is easier to pry open. If you have children, bolting it properly avoids tip over danger.

    342 Airlite Ti

I think that you got a great deal on one of the most interesting snubnose S+W revolvers ever. Titanium may show discoloration but it is very strong. Scandium is added to aluminum at about 5% content. Russia is the chief supplier of pure scandium and a major producer of titanium. These were...

    Gun Mag Warehouse

I’ve had very good service from Gun Mag Warehouse in the last few weeks. Items have been well packaged and received on time.

Thrift Shop Henckels knife set find

The “single man” Henckel knives were made in China at one point. The “two man” knives were always made in Solingen, Germany. Production for the less expensive knives may have been switched to Spain in the last eight or nine years. Big difference is price between the German and Chinese knives...

.Gov free at home Covid tests launched

I’m disgusted that the kits we received today from the FDA are made in China. I wonder if this administration even looked for USA manufactured kits.

    Florida residents constitutional carry bill

Very easy to do. Come on, Florida voters! Send off an Email message to these three state representatives. You can bet that the Anti's are working against us.

    OEM M&P 9 mags, used

Thanks for the tip. I just received three. A little dirt on the followers but the magazine bodies are in very good condition. Fast service, too.

    Are revolvers obsolete? Manurhin revolver.

I think that this revolver will be a big success in the high end collector market. Beretta has recently purchased Holland and Holland. Why not have a super high end revolver to show in the same showrooms? Only the Korth will compete for the same customers.

    ammoshoponline.com

Ammo Shop Online gives good service but very high shipping and handling costs. Plus sales tax for most states outside of Georgia. The company appears to be a wholly owned subsidiary of RUAG, a very large European ammo and arms conglomerate. Someone convinced them that shipping and handling was a...

Walmart’s gun and ammo section have been cleaned out!

My Wal-Mart has all firearms, scopes and ammo all locked away. I would not be surprised if Wal-Mart eliminates firearms, ammo and accessories after the election. We can only hope that the "back room" has adequate theft protection. Now, all looters and Antifa members now know where to look...

    Speedloader with Crimson Trace?

I have the model LG-105 Defender C-T grips on an older model 60 and also on a newish 442. There is some interference on the left side with the HKS speedloader. It will work, but more slowly that it is intended. If it bothers you, you will need to dremel the left side stock interference area...

    Coin shortage in U.S.

None of the banks in my area have change counting machines. If you use a Coinstar or other change device ( at Wal-Mart or grocery stores), you pay a 9 percent convenience fee. At that discount, it is no wonder people have large containers of coins. Cut that rate to close to zero and coins will...

Your Thoughts of the M&P Pro Line

My only failure on my M&P Pro 1.0 (4.25") was the slide stop that failed after about 4000 rounds. S&W replaced it under warranty and I purchased a spare slide stop from Brownells. I believe that the original slide stop design was re-engineered several times during its production life.

    remove rollmark paint

Acetone first and Xylene next. Let the solvent sit and then go to work with a sturdy wooden tooth pick or kebob stick. It may take a few soakings. Xylene or acetone will not hurt your finish.

    Backgroung check

I waited almost three hours at a BassPro today in Florida. This was with a CCW card, which makes no difference in Florida. Be patient or come back the next day if possible.

    Patton A Genius For War

Another interesting book is "Patton on Leadership: Strategic Lessons for Corporate Warfare", by Alan Axlerod, 1999. This book covers the wisdom ofPatton, first giving quotations, then information on how to apply these extended quotes in a business setting. Not a biography, but it gives great...
