Isn't the point of the flash kill to keep the sight picture clear in the event of nearby flashes (explosions)? I seriously doubt that I'd be worried about anyone spotting the red diode inside my gun sight. If he did it would probably be the last thing he saw.

pro-mag 1" is not very nice. It works fine but had crappy finish on the knobs. It looks used but was new.
