    Mod-39 front sight inserts

I really never thought about it before, I imagine the guy I bought it from did it but he passed. Everyone called him Buffalo because when he ran it sounded like a buffalo running. Great guy.

    Traditional knives…

My pop carried a Barlow knife in his pocket. I never seen him without it. I can remember him leaning on our picnic table cutting apples from our tree. He passed away when I was about 20 and while he lay at rest in the funeral home I slipped his Barlow into his pocket. I loved that man!

Motor oil and filters for our cars - I have finally come to my senses and become practical in my old age

I keep my vehicles as long as possible. Handed over my 07 C6 corvette to my wife as her daily driver, I don’t drive as much anymore but I drive an 08 GMC duramax. Mobil oil and ac delco filter in vette and rotella/ac delco filter in truck. I do both when the DIC/ driver information center is 0%.

    Home Defense Shotguns

I have several shotguns for hunting but when my son out grew his 870 youth model 20ga that became my bedside gun. I think it’s loaded with #3 or 4 buckshot, but it’s short and lite and already paid for.

Squirrels raising havoc on the bird feeders

I deploy one of these a time or two every year and relocate them to a nearby woods where I hunt. Kind of like a restocking squirrel program. SQUIRRELINATOR.COM

    Sandwich Experimenting

This thread made me fatter, thanks. Our four day long process of making a beef tongue for sandwiches ended today. Bought my seeded rye bread, spicy mustard and red onion sandwich today with homemade coleslaw on the side was fabulous. We need a breakfast thread next.

All the guys/gals on my shift had a fantasy football team and that was my teams name from almost 20 years ago now but it’s a name I can remember.

Might make some go yuck but my wife marinated a beef heart overnight then grilled it outside. Baked potato and greens. Good stuff!

    Anyone here had a TAVR?

I had open heart aortic valve replacement two years ago this February the first. I spent ten days in the hospital and I’m just starting to feel good again now. I was told the valve will last 10-15 years and then I can get two replacement valves after that each lasting the same 10-15 years...

    2024 Corvette E-Ray

I have a C6 in velocity yellow. I know it’s not as fast or sophisticated as the newer ones but I love it for what it is. A big V8 a stick shift and clutch and no fancy electronics on the dash. It’s what I like.
