If you think you can afford it, I'd say retire early. My Dad worked hard all of his life & then passed away a month before he could retire. Life's too short to spend it all working. Me, I expect to retire when I turn 107.

I visited Appomattox Court House Military Park recently. It's interesting to walk around the area. Joining the park is the Confederate Cemetery. 18 Confederate soldiers & 1 Union soldier are buried there.
