I have been throwing the idea around myself getting a 629. glad i came across this topic the only question i have is didn't smith make a 629 ported? one large port on top infront of the front sight? Theres one on the form forsale now. How does this compare to the magna port?

I been looking for a 625 and come across this at a gun shop. I didn't know smith made one of these in a v-comp anyone have one that they can give any input on. It's used not sure of round count and has 4" barrel. Thanks

Well I'm far from a competition shooter but do like to do steel matches. Was hooting do so with this gun. I may have to switch to round nose Bullets and find what brass works best.

I was holding gun vertical and was also thinking that a round nose bullet may work better. Thanks Scott & what moon clips do you use?
