I have both the Full size M&P 40 and the Shield in 40 cal. and I carry my Shield everywhere I go. I really don't notice I'm carrying it anymore. It shoots great, accurate and light. I also carry an extra mag in my pocket. Remember when we only had revolvers with 5 or 6 rd capacities? If you...
I have my S&W M&P Shield 40 on me all the time, an M&P Full size 40 in my night stand drawer in the Master Bedroom along with a 36" sword, a Mossberg 500 12ga in corner by my chair in the Living Room, an M&P 15 .226 in my Spare Bedroom along with a large Collection of S&W knives scattered in...
I sold my M&P to my son with the 357 Sig barrel and he didn't want the 40 barrel so that's why I still have it and don't need it. you can contact by email to [email protected] if interested in buying it thru PayPal with address info.
Answers to your questions.
I will accept Paypal discretely. and yes it fits without alteration of any kind into the 357 Sig. Actually it came with my gun as a combo set with both barrels and I have never used the 40 cal.

I have been collecting a lot of older Smith & Wesson revolver for years and have my CCW license but didn't really have a gun to carry (all mine are collectibles) until my Son was robbed and the guy got the drop on him and took his carry gun. Now in the last 2 months I bought a S&W M&P 40, a...
I've owned almost every revolver model S&W has made since they came out with model numbers and many pre-models. I have only found a few I was a little disappointed with but the Governor is definitely not one of them. It is worth every penny, but the quote above shows true ignorance, lack of...
I have a whole book on the history of all Dirty Harry films along with every movie. Clint Eastwood used a Blue Model 29-2 with a 6 1/2" barrel. He also used 44 mag ammo in the early films but then used a .44 special ammo in the later 2 films. He also used a 44 Automag in 1 film. I regret selling...
This is what I copied from the S&w website....Night Guard Revolvers
Smith & Wesson's Night Guard™ series is available in models of medium and large frames in four different capacities and calibers. All feature lightweight scandium alloy frames, Pachmayr® Compac grips and PVD-coated stainless...
The 325pd is lighter in weight as it is a Scandium Alloy Frame and Titanium Alloy Cylinder as opposed to the Thunder Ranch which has Stainless Steel Cylinder. The barrel design is a little different and the sights but other than that all else is the same.
I just checked The America Remembers General George S. Patton, Jr. Tribute Revolver and it is a Colt SAA .45. They also made a Colt 1911 Commemorative, but nothing on the S&W. Hopefully your friend will know more because this is a mystery to me. With the internet and all the technology of today...
You are right, the "N" frame is more appealing and accurate for a George Patton Commemorative and maybe that is the only way to go is to get a letter from Roy Jinks. I was just hoping someone else had seen one like this before. I won the gun on Gun Broker for $480.00. The seller just listed it...
The serial number is BHF3640. It is stamped 27-5 and when I called Smith & Wesson they verified it is a 27-5 made in 1991. It is an "N" frame revolver. The 586 is an "L" frame, that's why this has me so puzzled. I am adding additional pics.
