I just boxed up my BG380 and will be sending to S&W tomorrow. They were pretty quick to respond. I called them yesterday and was emailed a return shipping label today. I will update my post when I get it back and see if they repair or replace it and see what they have to say about the problem.

I'm not sure. But I've been following the BG 380 problems on line for a long time and I know many people with guns a lot more recent than mine were still having problems.

Thanks for the tips. Sounds like I'm doing ok with a good cleaning of the bore and chamber. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I guess after a year or so I can think about breaking it down a little for a complete cleaning.

Went out to the range over the weekend and put another 100 rounds thru my BG380, up to about 450 now. Not a single problem. Really fun to shoot. I was goruping in a 12 inch circle at 40 feet. Not bad for a small cc gun, I don't think!

I have about 400 rounds from my BG380 without a problem. I'm a little concerned though from all the problems I see posted. But I've grown too fond of this little gun that I know if I do have a problem with it down the road, I'll stick with it untill S&W makes it right again!
