200 rounds of CCI Mini-mags and 100 or so of Federal bulk pack stuff. After sitting the house for a couple days, it's still not returning to it's correct location, but the firing pin moves freely that last 8th of an inch, so I'm about 98% certain it's not a grease issue.

I was thinking that, and swapped it for the 9mm that was in my IWB holster to try and warm it up, but was still having the same issue after an hour of being next to my skin. When I get off work I'm going to pull it apart and take a look again before contacting S&W.

I've had good experience with PA's customer service FWIW.

I'd pull the stock off and check the holes in the extension tube. Sounds like there's something in there preventing the peg from fully catching.

I just went through my gun, it's got the blue springs now, and I can only assume the update to the extractor (it went back due to an OOB det, the extractor gaining escape velocity.) Bolt looks to be original, and they snuck in a new gen mag, although they were kind enough to swap out the bottom...

Out of curiosity (and due to my DTX**** numbered gun coming back yesterday after a repair) what exactly would have been changed? All the slip in the box said was "upgraded to current specs" and I'm curious.
