    Buyer Beware -Quantico Tactical.

Was the firearm being sold as "brand new" or "like new"? Two very very different terms. "Brand new" obviously meaning never sold before and shot a minimal amount of times since production (I'd say under 10 rounds for sure). "Like new" is nothing more than a sales pitch or marketing tool. The gun...

A little attitude with S&W customer service

Very true. That's simply good business. Odds the OP is trying to scam the store for one mag after purchasing 5 firearms is slim to none. They should have realized this and just made the problem right. And look what happened. It was their fault all along. If they had made it right 6 months ago...

A little attitude with S&W customer service

I said this 9 months ago. Looks like my guess was spot on. I stand by every word of it.

    Trouble breaking down

I don't even flip the sear deactivation lever. Lock the slide back, flip the take down lever, pull the trigger and release the slide while riding it forward. Slide comes right off.

    Cabelas...really?

EVERY big box store is the same. They hire "staff" or "labor". There is very little, if any, training done. Your only hope is that the staff member working that department uses those products as a hobby of his. For example, someone behind the gun counter who owns many firearms himself and...

    Bedside storage question

Keep it within range of the bed. You shouldn't need to leave bed to get it. If you live alone, as I do, keep a round in the chamber and a full mag. I have mine just barely under the bed. A little bed curtain thingy hangs down and covers it up. Nobody can see it unless you're looking under the...

New M&P9c has three mags and a slide that won't release easily

As said many times throughout this forum, that tab is actually not a slide release. We've even had people break the tab clean off the firearm while trying to use it as such.

    M&P40 - I'm Not A Trigger Diva, But......

I noticed minimal improvement on the stock trigger after ~2500 rounds. Apex Hard sear and USB helped quite a bit. Instantly.

    M&P front sight

You need a sight adjustment tool. Odds are your local gun shop has one on hand and will center yours up for a nominal fee (possibly free). As for "zeroing it in"... you'll have to expand on that a little more.

    Apex Upgrades

I too have the hard sear and USB installed. Trigger is MUCH smoother now and provides a nice break, but I still can't feel the sear reset nearly as much as I'd like. Really didn't improve that at all despite everyone saying it would.

A little attitude with S&W customer service

what are the issues? And they may be required to tell everyone 30 days. So you don't have people freaking out when it takes 2 days longer than quoted.

9mm or .40, that is the guestion

9mm. Ammo is much cheaper and that's a pretty good deal you found. The $2/box advantage posted in the first page is a little misleading. It's usually $5-6/box. See if you can offer $475 for the lot.:)

A little attitude with S&W customer service

Nobody likes getting attitude. And nobody should really give attitude. It's a sign you're letting your emotions mix with your business. It's inexperienced, and honestly, a little childish. But in the end, S&W did send the mag. They have no idea who's really at fault. But they took you for your...

New to forum and to carrying

haha exactly what I was saying. It has a ton of take up too. No way that trigger is getting pulled accidently. At the same time, let's not even think that the firearm is hard to use when needed. Get which ever you like better. But honestly I really don't care how smooth the trigger is (or...

New to forum and to carrying

I didn't read all the replies, so sorry if I repeat. If you're still worried about it, don't carry it. You need to be 100% completely comfortable carrying, drawing and using your concealed weapon. You might think about a firearm with a hard trigger pull with a lot of take up. The Ruger LCP for...
