    What ISN'T so special about them? My Dad loaded his 28-2 hotter than factory 44s. Can't do that with a .38 Well,not twice.

    I had posted earlier with a pic of my Mod. 28-2.The only thing I didn't like were the Pach. grips,but that's all I had. I came across a pretty nice deal on original grips and had to have them.I think it makes a lot of difference.Not only looks,but the factory grips fit my hands better. Bob

    Joe 52XXX was most likely from 1954,records of the numbers weren't tracked all that well until into the mid-60s,but the #s for 1955 started above 55XXX.
