I just got a 9mm recently and would like to take it to the range at least one a week or so. I got the 9mm since I can't shoot as much of the cheap .22 as I used to. I am trying to stay in a budget of $0.18 to $0.22 per 115gr round. So far I have used Magtech which I buy from Midway for around $0.23 per round shipped. I was looking in to some of the sites that sell reloaded 9mm and was wondering if anyone has good luck with any of these? A place called Freedom Munitions has 500 rounds for about $100. Does anyone if this is a good source for 9mm ammo or if there are better sites to buy it from?

Freedom munitions is great for 9mm target practice amm! Even if you bought the new ammo it would be less expensive than most stuff out there.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like it's $97 for 500 rnds with no tax and free shipping for new customers. Great price. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't about to spend $100 on a lot of duds.

I'm new to reloading and I would never buy somebody else's reloads. Especially some company I never heard from

By the way, the price isn't all that great. Less than half that I could load my own. I split some 38 cases a few months back. They were from the one box of truvelocity reloads I bought. God knows how many times they had been reloaded.

I've shot thousands of Freedom Munitions remans, FMJ, in 380, 9, and 45. No problems -- highly recommend.
P.S. they are out of stock in 223

Shooting reloads is always a risk, especially if bought at gun shows from individuals instead of companies. But heck, even factory loads are not 100% reliable/safe. Stuff can happen, either way.

I travel extensively within state for work in a company vehicle. I know where pretty much every Wally World is located and I haunt them all. :o

I have yet to find an online deal where shipping doesn't make the item more expensive than what I walk out of WW with in hand, no waiting.

You can easily stay within your posted budget with a great deal of what goes on the shelf there. And for the most part things have been pretty well stocked of late too.

I agree with schgsd. I look for Tula and perfecta and, just scored some Tula at $22.00 or so for 100. I use that for plinking and don't have any trouble out of it. We shoot many 9mm guns and don't have any trouble out of any of them.

Check your range rules first. One that I use only allows their in-house reloads.

Yes those round Tula BrassMaxx 100 packs are tough to pass up aren't they? :)

Anyone have any experience with Wolf ammo? I've heard some bad things about Tulammo and have stayed away from it.

Bad, as in FTFs and FTEs, ruptured primers.

I've run Wolf and Tula and Perfecta through my shield without a problem. I've also run them through every 9mm gun that has come out to shoot without problems. Notable attendees include Glock, Kahr, Taurus (one FTF out of a whole bunch), Kel-Tek, and S&W. The only problem I've ever had was with a Taurus 92 and that was Perfecta ammo, out of about 50, we had 1 ftf. Everything else, we've run boxes through of those three and never had a problem. They are my go to practice ammo and I only spend more when I need it and they don't have the cheap stuff.

"Reloads" is a guy like me, making his own ammo in his basement.

"Remanufactured" is a Company like Freedom Munitions, who has a license, insurance, and a reputation. The only part reused is the brass, and while some object to this practice, many of us remember when Coke and Pepsi used to do the same thing.

Freedom Munitions is a good bet. Proceed with confidence.

I shoot brass case, and brass case only. Sure I'll shop on price pretty hard but I compromise only so far.
