Sights for an old K38 - Help!

I have just acquired an early M14 (S/No. K649097) which dates to about 1965. It has nice timber 'diamond' grips but unfortunately the sights have been "tampered with" somewhat. I am looking to find a replacement front sight, and a rear blade. Can anyone tell me what size (height) blade I will...

    Bought a 10-6 4"

I bought a model 10-6 at a gunshow last weekend S/No.D686862 which puts it around 1974. I just want to know if they made any with a 'medium' profile barrel. (in between the pencil barrel & the heavy barrel) or are all the "heavy" barrels the same?

    Your take on a "no M" 681

Australian police used 'K' frames only, such as M10, M13. M64 & M65. Some undercover officers, detectives etc. carried 'K' and 'J' frames such as M10, M12, M60 & M36. I have never heard of Aussie cops with 'L' frames. :) That's correct 'SmithMarine' we have a S&W authorised...

    Big Bore Revolver Build

I am looking to build either a .44 spl or .45acp revolver. I have a S&W 2nd model hand ejector that was originally a british issue .455 webley. These were sleeved down to .22lr and sold off to the civilian market after the war (as is the case with mine). My question is, can I use this piece as a...

    M66-2 snub

Nah, they were some spares I had sitting in a drawer. The painted ones it came with are sitting behind the gun, propping it up for the picture. Some nice 66 snubbies coming out of the woodwork here now. Love the Polished look too.
