Bought a 10-6 4"

I bought a model 10-6 at a gunshow last weekend S/No.D686862 which puts it around 1974.
I just want to know if they made any with a 'medium' profile barrel. (in between the pencil barrel & the heavy barrel) or are all the "heavy" barrels the same?

No, the 10-6 only came standard with the untapered or "bull" barrel. There is an in-between contour seen in 3" model 10-5s and 36s (among others) that is called "heavy", and there are photos here comparing all three types.
