Magnum rifle primers in a 35 Whelen

I load for two whelens, a rem 7600 and a Ruger 77mkII, both rifles like the 250 gr bullets, be it the 250 gr corelokt factory load or my 250 gr Hornady Interloks, both the RN and SP shoot to same point of impact at 100 yds. I've been loading 4064, re15 and 4831. I don't think you would have...

When would you use a mag primer in 357 ?

You use a magnum primer when your manual tells you too. Now with that being said unless I'm loading 357 for hunting loads with a 180 gr bullet, I'm loading to 38 sp +p levels for a light target and pd load without heavy muzzle flash.

    Apex spring & trigger

I did the spring kit in my SD9, haven't felt the need to do anything about the trigger. So I can't speak to it. However if it's anything like the trigger for the M&P it will be an improvement.

    Can't take it any more.....

I did the Apex DCAEK and the polymer trigger kit. Has is right where I want it for a carry gun. BTW you don't have to put the thumb safety back in.

Pocket Carry Options for Snub Nose or Other Guns of That Size

I usually carry my 642 or Nano in a Desantis Superfly as a bug in my left front pocket. My primary is IWB on my right side hip at the 4 o'clock position. I do this for two reasons, first, I carry my cell on my right side forward of the holster to help prevent printing and second it's just...

    15T w/ suppressor = over gassing?

Just about every carbine is over gassed, if you go down the road with an adjustable block or tube your going to have to end up setting up for one specific load to ensure reliable cycling. However with your comment that you are indeed planning on staying with one load that should not be a problem.

New to AR's? Here are some tools I use to clean.

I've been using Frog Lube and cleaning the bcg is simply a matter of wiping it off after heating it up with the blow dryer or heat gun. Carbon just melts off.

    APEX Tactical Ultimate Striker

The USB is the best bang for the buck to clean up the gritty trigger, will also lighten the pull slightly. I did the full DCAEK, did not do the trigger because they weren't available yet.

    Thumb safety

I have the M&P 40C with the thumb safety, really wasn't an issue for me, I do use it when carrying. Now with that said I wouldn't have any issue carrying if it didn't have the safety, my Sigs don't have one and in today's striker fired handguns, there is enough safety built into the design of...
