    WTS:(**SPF**) S&W 43C LNIB $460 (ftf Ohio)

I wish to sell one of the two new S&W J-frames recently purchased. I decided to pick up both the new 351C .22mag and also a new 43C .22lr. I had seen some reports of accuracy issues with the .22mag, so decided to spend the $1,100 and get both revolvers. After test firing, the 351C is "almost"...

    WTS: S&W 340 M&P (no-lock) $550 (ftf Ohio) *SOLD*

I have for sale a brand spankin' new Model 340 M & P .357 (no-lock) for only $550. This item has a suggested retail of $869 from S&W and usually lists at about $725 over on the "GB" website. I decided to keep my model 642 that has already had a "trigger job" and sell this new revolver. This...

My first post...(gonna get yelled at!)

Just gotta tell ya another reason that this forum is so great. When I mentioned the Galco hoster that I sometimes used, it was the "small of back" holster. So when I tried to enter those three letters, all I saw was ***, rather than "sierra, oscar, bravo". Then when I mentioned my Mother's...

OMG! I guess I really started off on the .22 debate again. I do apologize to all forum members for that. I think that "JimmyJ" has the answer to my dilemma: carry the 317 as a back-up only (for me it will be pocket or ankle) and carry the 640 on the hip or sometimes the G19...cold weather...

Paul, Thanks for posting the chrono results for "Stingers" out of a 2" barrel. I really do handle the 640 with decent accuracy (6" groups at 20 yards), but just became so enamored with the 10+ ounce weight of the 317 as a possible CCW. Your results certainly do reflect that the .22 Stinger is...

Thanks MurphyDog, I do have carry platforms for my Glock 19's. I bought four of the "all Austrian" G19's in early 2009. I have one of them loaded with Gold Dot's in a car-safe that is readily accessible and another in a bedroom nightstand. I find that my real/truly/often carry gun is never...

My first post...(gonna get yelled at!)

Thanks for all the quick responses. Although I haven't been really yelled at, I am not surprised at what I am hearing. I do still shoot competitively (Glock 34) so I'm just not sure it is a recoil issue. I can easily do 6 inch rapid fire groups at twenty yards with the 640, but I do even...

My first post...(gonna get yelled at!)

First of all, I am NOT old...just "chronologically gifted". A VietNam vet, who has over the years collected everything but money! Lots of J-frames...especially the stainless stuff from the eighties and early nineties. Here is my conundrum...I have carried an early 640 (no dash, no-lock, no...
