    S&W 1911DK-Anyone know one?

I've been looking at this Doug Koenig designed 1911 and was wondering if anyone had anything good or bad to say about it. It is currently "out-of-reach" so I could use some helpful experiences to guide me in the best direction to or from this interest. It sure looks interesting enough. Thanks, Mike

    7" Barrel and mags

Hi Folks, I just took ownership of my new S&W model 41 and was told the additional 7" barrel and (4) extra magazines are on back-order. Funny thing is they have NO idea for how long. They don't even want to guess. So I have shopped around and have come to the conclusion that I may have to settle...

    7" or 5.5"?

Curious I read that the Model 41 (S&W) has interchangeable barrels but the 22A doesn't state this capability. Is the 22A also interchangeable? Thanks, Mike

    knife id

I'll buy it! I have been looking to replace the one stolen from my apartment long ago and would be interested in yours if you are looking to sell. They did have a sheath with them (see my posts in collectables and knifes.) It is shown in photos attached to posts in there. Thanks, Mike

    S&W Stainless boot knife sheath

S&W Stainless boot knife Thanks TACC1. That confirms the authenticity of the one available to me now. It is exactly like what you are showing. There must have been some rolling changes during production and the sheath had changed atleast two times. Thanks for confirmation, Mike.

    S&W Stainless boot knife sheath

S&W Stainless boot knife No C.S.S.. The other version (double edged with bleeder grooves) and there was no flap. Just a "wad" that would obstruct the folded knife from exiting the sheath unless you bushed the "wad" back. Thanks for responding, Mike.

    S&W Stainless boot knife sheath

That's it! Thanks combat. It is the top one. It is interesting to see the other version at the right beneath it. The sheath he has is exactly like your black one beneath the top blade but in brown. The sheath that came with mine was black but had no button at top. A stitched in wad that kept...

    Greetings to all!

I just came on board after being away from shooting for quite some time. I am in the market for a smaller caliber pistol and have researched the High Standard, Colt Woodsman, Ruger mark III, and of course, the S&W 22A and model 41. I am leaning towards the Model 41 but need a little push to get...

    S&W Stainless boot knife sheath

Hi to all. I am new here and I am in persuit of an old S&W stainless folding bootknife of the 70s/80s I once owned and found an example for sale that has a brown sheath without the upper wad to retain the knife and a rivet/snap in this upper area instead. Was this knife ever equiped with this...
