    Toyota Rav 4 hybrid opinions?

My wife is getting ready to commit to buying a 2025 rav4 hybrid. It will be our first car that will have a battery in the drive train. Anything opinions or anything I should be aware of these toyotas would be appreciated. I did read being garage kept is better as the battery life span and...

I need advice on grips for my K22 Masterpiece.

OK Lets get a start on some of your questions. First cokes are N frame only and have a diamond around the grip screw. So your grips are not coke type. N will not fit correctly unless you find a altered set. Your K22 is from around roughly 1958-59 so any correct period grips for this gun will...

Early .22 Outdoorsman with neat grip adapter

Cool gun and great adapter. I wouldn't be surprised if the gold front was special ordered. The adapter is just like another I saw on here in the past and have been trying to find it for a week or so. Another very recent thread on here about drill holes in the grip frame has created a lot of...

    Cokes or no? K frame

I agree as most I see have very little curve to them. Thing is we have nothing else to call them as they are different than a standard grip.

    Cokes or no? K frame

Wonder if they changed the newest SCSW ? The older one makes mention of K frame Coke's I have come across very wide checking fields on some K targets but not the more ob-longed bottoms that cokes are known for.

    A Humpback hammer question...

Would enjoy seeing that thread! Now when you interchanged the hammers did you have to also use the mated trigger? I guess it's a round about way of saying I wonder if a 22/40 hammer mates correctly to a trigger fitted for long action.

    A Humpback hammer question...

I agree. Also I recall Modified has a 22/40 with a Humpback hammer on it. Also a few other mods

    A Humpback hammer question...

I held a first model k22 OD that had a later 22/40 hammer put on it. Looking back now I should have bought it in case it may have been some type of prototype. About a month or two ago I saw another one for sale on an auction site. It was a Pa one,Morphys or Pa Auction. Sadly I deleted it after...

1932 Outdoorsman with hole at top of front strap

Interesting to read about your two king guns having the drilled hole! Now just to know have you tried screwing the screw from your MP into the other King gun? If the screw fits both I am going to have to find out if my King OD has the same thread as yours. Could be a new area to learn about.

1932 Outdoorsman with hole at top of front strap

I do not mess with mine but am considering filling with a screw as mine is threaded. My guns all have targets so it is not oft on my mind. Appears the gun on here has a threaded screw?

1932 Outdoorsman with hole at top of front strap

I have the same threaded hole on my King K22 Outdoorsman. Been meaning to see what thread it was. I cannot find it now but I saw a thread on here a long time ago where a wooden grip adapter was attached by a screw. Looked much like a tyler with the finger grooves lightly in the adapter,

    747 going out of production

I wonder if going from 4 smaller engines to two larger, which is overall safer? It seems the 4 would be but I would have no clue

    Factory Nickel & Proud Pins?

I do believe there are some early 27-2s nickel guns with black front sights? I have come across a couple on auction sites but none I saw a letter on to verify.

Pre-war Magnas on Postwar, Transitional N Frames?

This last picture is great as it shows on a prewar magna that underneath the medallion, the top of the checking border looks like a smiley face. That's how I can quickly identify a prewar magna picture at just a quick glance.

Pre-war Magnas on Postwar, Transitional N Frames?

Interesting question, I have not ever come across a correctly numbered N frame prewar style grip on a postwar gun. Only the long early post war sharp shoulder style.

Outdoorsman to 1950 Target Factory conversion?

Interesting the rear sight blade worked equally well on both bbl lengths and using calibers. Was there a sight in adjustment when changing bbls? PS Great gun!!

    Found in the wild: RM3061/54129

First I saw a RM with only a King rear sight.! I know the street that his relative lived on as my mother in law lived on the same street. Traveled that way all the time. I home there is an update with what shop this gun shipped. There was two small shops nearby where they catered primarily to...

    Pre war grips

The prewar magna numbers question has always been interesting to me. In my limited experience I have found N frame magnas to be numbered very much most of the time. I do own a unnumbered set and the gun they came on letters with magnas. No way I can prove if original or not. Now with K frame...
