Due to me carrying it on my left side it is more subject to being bumped/ knocked one way or the other. I don't see it having a strong chance of happening but I choose not to chance my life on it. As for the legality, I don't see that holding any water at all. They could attempt to fight it...

I have the 40, and had the mag drop issue. I called s&w and received a shipping label afew days later. They were closed till the 13 of August and I got the gun back on the 16th of August with no issues. They have the fix for the problem as far as I can tell. J.Wal

I want to remove the safety from my shield. I see no point In a safety on a self defense pistol. Keep your finger off the trigger is as safe as it needs to be IMO. So does anyone make a drop in type pice that makes it were the gun can never be placed on safe? J.Wal

My shop was quick , I ordered on July 9th and got it on July 26th. I am still waiting for the packaging to send it back in but they said it should be a two week turn around....... We will see J.Wal

I got my shield 2 days ago, ran 3 mags through it and it started stove piping and the mag started coming out after every shot. I called S&W and they are paying for me to send it back, apparently this is a common issue. I just hope they fix it and get it back to me soon! J.Wal

My dog killed a copper head in the yard this last summer. It bit him, but he killed it. I found him after the event because the blood on his face was dry. His nose swelled up, but that was it. I called my vet ( I have his cell) and he said as long as he was not having a hard time breathing...
