Shield 40 mag issues

I got my shield 2 days ago, ran 3 mags through it and it started stove piping and the mag started coming out after every shot.

I called S&W and they are paying for me to send it back, apparently this is a common issue. I just hope they fix it and get it back to me soon!

I've had my 40 on order for several weeks now at my local shop.
I hope these issues I've been reading re: mag drops have been addressed at the factory long ago and they aren't shipping a known
problem any longer. Waited too long to turn around and send it back.

My shop was quick , I ordered on July 9th and got it on July 26th. I am still waiting for the packaging to send it back in but they said it should be a two week turn around....... We will see
